Fuel control dial
Function
• The fuel control dial is installed under the monitor
panel, and a potentiometer is installed under the
knob. The potentiometer shaft is turned by turning
the knob.
• As the potentiometer shaft is turned, the resistance
of the variable resistor in the potentiometer
changes and a throttle signal is sent to the
engine throttle and pump controller.
The hatched area in the graph shown at right is
the abnormality detection area.
